We had a WONDERFUL treat today! A fabulous Nashville photographer asked if she could take our family picture as part of her new military ministry. Katy spent the entire morning with us--it takes a lot of time (and patience) to photograph 4 little ones. She had some great ideas and I can't wait to see the results! I love what she has to say on her photoblog: "I am often overwhelmed by just how great life is, and feel compelled to capture as many beautiful moments as possible." As I watched her photograph my kids, I could tell that this quote described her passion. I loved that she kept on snapping the pouts and the tears. At one point, the kids and I were all on the bed and nobody was cooperating. She told me to just keep on smiling as Addie cried and Sam wrestled Si, and I did, cause even those chaotic moments are wonderful. She has a sneak peek on her blog. I feel so blessed to have people like Katy minister to my family while my husband is away.
